Ledbury 2018

This years first weekender didn't get off to a great start! The weather was most unkind to us on the Friday with a washout! But once this had passed it turned out to be an exeptional weekend with friends old and new.

The Friday afternoon was a great chance to catch up with fellow members over a pint, some of whom had not seen one another for a while. Tents were pitched and we gathered in the pub waiting for the rain to break!

Saturday was the main day for the weekend event. After everbody had sobered up from the previous evenings antics we made our way to Doms bike stop for photos and a spot of breakfast which was most welcome! It was awesome to see so many of our HTOC ladies with us and our two Chairty Co-ordinators (Natasha Chell and Amie Oakley). During the day they were selling raffle tickets for that nights prize giving event.

After breakfast we took the long way back to the campsite and took Herefordshires offerings of picturesque landscape, winding country roads and sunny weather which was also a welcomed sight!

During the afternoon we continued to relax with friends and welcome new faces to the event. Raffle ticket sales and donations were in full swing for our HTOC Charity.

Saturday evening came about and it was time for the raffle! We had an amazing selection of prizes on offer and here we would like to thank our supporters for their generous donations! Visorcat, GetGeared, British Empire and the Triumph visitor centre were among the few who helped make our raffle special and raise a huge amount for the Hannahs Homes Appeal!

So a massive thanks from all of us at the HTOC for your generosity!

After the raffle, Chris and Natasha Chell kindly organized a quiz. The top prize was a pair of factory tour tickets! kindly donated by the visitor centre. It was great to see everyone take part and enjoy the quiz which had a variety of different catagories and really got us all thinking! So would like to thank those guys for putting it on for us!

Raffle and quiz done, it was time for us all to kick back and do what we all do best, talk Triumph with a few cold ones and dinner! The evening went on until the early hours when we all gave up and decided it was time to retire to the tents for some shut eye before the big pack up in the morning!

Lastly we would like to thank all those who made the effort and helped make Ledbury 2018 something to remember! Also the fact that we managed to raise a huge sum of £342.36 for ou HTOC charity!

Sadly Ledbury 2019 will be the last one, marking 5 years of the event there will be a HTOC hog roast to look forward to! But do not fret, another location has been found!

See you all there!
